Wealth Management in Cranberry Township, PA
Cranberry Township is not in Allegheny County, and that catches people out more often than you would expect.
You are in Butler County, not Allegheny
Cranberry sits in Butler County. Your earned income tax is collected by a different agency than your colleagues in the city use, your property is assessed on a different county’s schedule, and your school district is Seneca Valley rather than anything Pittsburgh-based. The resident earned income tax is 1% — half to the township, half to the school district — and the township set its 2026 real estate millage at 15.75.
None of that is a problem. It is a reminder that “Pittsburgh” is a label covering four counties with four sets of rules, and that advice assembled for somebody in the city does not automatically transfer to an address off Route 228.
The thing that actually distinguishes a plan here
Cranberry has filled with people whose wealth arrives in complicated shapes — corporate executives with equity compensation, engineers and technical staff at the employers along the corridor, business owners who have built something substantial and now have a balance sheet that does not fit a template.
For that, the question is not which funds to buy. It is who decides.
Two managers, two theses, on purpose
Sit down with most advisors and you get their house view. The assets they like become your plan, whether or not you share the thesis. We built our wealth management differently: two independent managers rather than one in-house book, with genuinely different convictions.
- Bartolomeo Capital Group, working with New Edge Wealth, positioned for continued dollar devaluation — commodities, gold, silver, uranium and international equities. Their gold and silver positions are backed by physical metal rather than paper exposure.
- AMP Consulting, built around the momentum factor — the view that assets which have been winning tend to keep winning. Weighted toward AI, technology and industrials, with access to private markets and crypto ETFs.
Those two are not variations on a theme. They would disagree with each other in a room. That is the point: you get a considered allocation rather than whichever thesis your advisor happened to be trained in.
Alongside the portfolio
Equity compensation and concentrated stock need handling before they need investing — vesting schedules, concentration risk, and the question of what happens if your employer and your portfolio go down together. We coordinate that with tax planning, protection and the rest of the balance sheet rather than treating the brokerage account as the whole plan.

I was hurting financially, not because I don't make the money I just wasn't putting it in the right places. Ben helped me get set up with many different areas. He helped me get a new CPA to help me save money on my taxes which lead me to set up payroll for my personal business to help with taxes and other areas in life such as setting up a SOLO 401K and IRA. He's helped me get money into savings without having to give up things we love doing like eating out and vacationing. He has made a complete 180 with our financial life and I'm proud to say because of Ben we are now on a track where I can retire at age 50 when before I didn't know if I would ever be able to retire! He's even helped with setting up life insurance for my husband and I to make sure our children will be taken care of if something happens. This company is great and worth all the time and energy they'll have you invest into yourself and your financial needs and goals.
